Mills U15 Boys are Officially Tops in TPR
November 11, 2008 -- After some minor
tweaking,
the FINAL edition of the 2008 GetGame TERRA Power Rankings (TPR) has been
released.
After leading the pack virtually the entire
season, Erin Mills U15 narrowly held on to nip the U17 boys from Vaughan SC. U18
OYSL champion Oakville ranked 3rd overall. Unionville U14, Ajax U15, Brampton
East U17, Spartacus U16, Mississauga U15, Ottawa South United U17 and Oakville
U16 occupy spots 4 through 10.
On the girls side, the Oshawa Kicks U18 squad jumped
8 spots to claim the #1 ranking on the girls side, thanks largely to an
undefeated OYSL campaign. The Newmarket U14 Girls claimed second spot with an
impressive season - they were Ontario Cup champions and shared the OYSL
title with Oakville, who placed 3rd overall. Ajax U16, Oakville U17, Pickering U14,
Brams United U15, Mississauga U16, Richmond Hill U15 and Dixie U16 rounded out the top 10.
For the Clubs, Ottawa South United and Erin
Mills SC remain at the top of the Community and Performance Club rankings
respectively.
The rankings are based predominantly on
performance in league play. The level at which the team plays is also a
significant factor. All leagues and divisions are given a relative weighting
based on their place in the
OSA Pyramid of Play and the performance of it's teams in tournament and
Ontario Cup competition.
Tournament, Ontario Cup & League Cup results
will also play a large part in the rankings. In order for these results to be
included, they have to have been submitted through the
Tournament Central website.

- These rankings are FINAL - no further updates will be produced for 2008
- ONLY stats collected as of October 31, 2008 are included in this edition

- Check Tournament Central to see if your
Tournament, Ontario Cup and/or League Cup results were entered correctly.
- Results of exhibition games are NOT considered.
